Watercolored Snow

I’m still much more comfortable painting on skin, but I’m pleased with how this one came out. For one thing, I had an image in my head, and I got really darn close to reproducing it on paper. Which is strangely fulfilling. For another, this is an upwelling of missing my walks in the woods, which often in winter took place with skis or snowshoes under me to facilitate progress.

For those who might be interested: this, and many other pieces of my art, whether they are digital, photographic, or painted, are available at DeviantArt. You can buy prints, or download images for use with attribution. Let me know if you are interested in the original art, some I still have, some already have new homes. Email me if you are interested in commissioning a piece. I don’t have much time, but the art is for sanity, so I make time. And if I commit to it, I will deliver! I’ve dealt with enough flaky artists (love you guys, and it takes one to know one) to be very careful of that pitfall.
