Wow, fractals have come a long way. Whatever happened to the mandelbrot?
It’s still out there! Only it’s gone 3D now. I play with it from time to time in other programs – these were all rendered from fractal flames in Apophysis 7X. But you might enjoy this: http://mandelbulb.com/about/
