Home for a Day

Today we came home.

There was champagne, and housewarming gifts – like that chair, thank you Jim Curtis

The First Reader, and JL Curtis (Old NFO)

There were friends, and a dog and a cat, and a very excited Little Man.

Jonna Hayden, and Erin C.

Toasting the house, and showing off all the fun little features.

Erin had to check out the under-sink lighting.

And finally, for a brief sweet moment in the hectic day, there was front-porch sitting. A prelude to the peace in the future for us.

It’s a beautiful home. But I am just a little biased.

Crossvine (Bignonia capreolata) offers shade, shelter, and hummingbirds to our front porch.

Beautiful. Do you have gardening space here? If not I’ve been seeing some really cool solutions lately.

    1. Not a lot. Iโ€™m planning raised beds and some intensive methods to optimize the small space.

  6. Blessings upon your house and all who dwell, and those who enter in
