Odd Prompts: Autumn’s Guardian

I’ve been struggling to find time for creativity these last few months. My mind seems to be filled with other stuff that pushes the urge to imagine right out of the way.

I thought I’d explore styles with this last week’s prompt. My prompt came from Becky Jones with “The Guardian was napping in the fall sunshine.” You can find all the prompts, and join the weekly challenge if you like, over at More Odds Than Ends.

“The Guardian was napping in the fall sunshine, a great fluffy beast guardian, style of Kate Greenaway and John Tenniel –ar 3:2 –niji”
The Guardian was napping in the fall sunshine, a great fluffy beast guardian, style of Beatrix Potter –ar 3:2 –niji
The Guardian was napping in the fall sunshine, a great fluffy beast guardian, small child, style of arthur rackham and Beatrix Potter –ar 3:2 –niji
The Guardian was napping in the fall sunshine, a great fluffy beast guardian, style of Beatrix Potter –ar 3:2 –niji
The Guardian was napping in the fall sunshine, a great fluffy beast guardian, style of Howard Pyle and Gustav Dore –ar 3:2 –niji
Same prompt as above, and I really liked the light/dark contrasts in this one. These two nineteenth-century illustrators make a wonderful pairing. I did soften all of the prompts by using the modifier niji, which yields more ‘comic’ styles in MidJourney.
A sly fellow, he has his eye on you! (Same prompt as the last two, with iterations).
