I haven’t been reading much, well, not at all. Except for school. It’s been mad busy.
I read this book a while back, as an ARC, and I have been waiting for it to come out. I got to put up the first review! Anyway, I highly recommend it, and the first book in the series.
by William Lehman
my review: Lehman’s writing just gets stronger with each book. The characters are compelling and you’ll find yourself drawn into the story by the action, but staying to see what happens to them. The core of this particular tale is loyalty to Brothers-in-arms, and it’s a profoundly moving situation. Adding the peril of magic on top of adjustments back to civilian life and, well, you’ll have to read it to find out. Very well done, highly recommended.
Hopefully Lehman keeps them coming.
For the Fragile Muses by D Jason Fleming is a short story, enigmatic, compelling, and I really can’t review it without spoilers. Go, read it. Make time, it’s worth it and more.
Anyway, I have an event to get ready for. I’ll be back soon – no longer than a week, I promise!

I just bought Lehman’s first novel, and I parked the second on my wish list.
I suspect that even after human cloning is a done deal, we, and we takes on quite the different meaning, will still not be able to get everything done that needs to be done!
My priorities are sometimes moved when my wife gives me the “look.”
The “look” and a deep intake of breath means a radical shift in my priorities is in the immediate future. ( wry smile of experience)
I know, now, that I will never run out of books I want to read. It’s a good feeling.
