The Sheep and the Goats

I wound up over at MGC today, switching off with Amanda. My post was about the publishing industry, but it drew on my background of caring for sheep and goats. Small livestock
Goats are friendly, efficient, and good for many purposes.
Lamb
My bottle- lamb Brendan, who used to walk with me on a leash, and was often mistaken for a dog, until he’d Baa!
Goats and Kids
My daughter helping my mother move goats to a pen with better grass.

And because it made me laugh my head off when a commentor at the MGC pointed me to it, here are the flying sheep.

Clever sheep, indeed!

Dang it, wish your mom lived anywhere near me – I’d rent that one for a week or two. The only mowing method I know of that works in the mud and has minimal maintenance downtime. (After today’s rain, I still have an inch of water sitting in the back yard, and half of the grass is still a foot high – this, in Tucson. Sigh.)
