Very Little Brain

I am a girl of very little brain today. Yesterday having been the first day of school, I got almost everything on my list done, but it’s left me feeling a bit out of it this morning.

Things I got done yesterday include writing 1000 words, in this case on a new short-story. I’m going to try very hard to keep writing daily even during school. It’s all a matter of discipline, and I’m afraid I’m not really very disciplined. But I’m a professional, by training, and this is what I need to do. So onward!

I don’t think I’ve mentioned Ninja Nun here before. A fellow student, Robert Hoyt inspires me with his dedication to this webcomic while he’s taking a larger class burden on than I am. And he tells wonderfully bad jokes, “Disgruntled students, upset at changes to the organism-handling protocols at their school, responded by holding protists.”

So I have Pre-Calculus later this morning, which I am not looking forward to in the slightest. I have the world’s worst Professor, and after yesterday, am planning to treat this class as a self-learning experience, with the classroom simply being an annoying waste of time and money. But to offset it, I have Chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology 2, and Epidemiology, which I am very excited about, and later this semester, Drawing.

So now I am off to write a bit more, and do homework, and make a list of what needs to be done in other parts of life. If I find time later I have a painting to do.
