The Groundskeeper series follows Chloe Brandt, a practical young woman who serves as both groundskeeper and mediator at Belleview Cemetery.
Between tending the living landscape and assisting those who have not yet found their way onward, Chloe navigates mysteries that gather at the edges of the ordinary world. The books are quiet in tone, rich in atmosphere, and concerned with found family, careful attention, and the small acts of care that keep a place—and its people—steady.
The tales began with Raking Up the Dead, then continued with The Hoodoo That You Do, and My Ghoul. You can find all three of those short stories in print as an omnibus. The stories grow longer with books four, which is Deadhead, and five, which is Have a Dead Night.
Fen Dead is the most recent title, available July 30, 2026.
