Tux, who you may not doesn’t get a voice because there are no thoughts in that little head of his, is allowed out. And in, and out again… No thoughts. Only speed. He and Toast have tried to make friends but she’s not interested in roughhousing and he’s not interested in becoming her loyal minion for unspecified nefarious purposes.

I’m pleased to introduce a bit of whimsy I’ve wanted to do for years, now. I finally decided the art doesn’t have to be perfect, there doesn’t have to be a sequential story line, it would just be silly and heart-warming, and who doesn’t like that? So!

As I draw more of these, I see my artwork improving slightly. Time will tell if that trend continues, but mostly I’m just doing a simple cartoon in the interests of time and my limited patience as I recover from pretty severe burnout. And yes, the art daily is helping with that. I’m unleashing my inner creative and she’s charging full speed ahead with two fists full of art supplies and a shriek of glee.
