When the temperature differential between out-of-doors and the inside of the house isn’t too great, we put Cat TV on. This means we leave the solid front door open, and the glass door closed so the cats can lounge on the entry rug and see what’s happening in the wide world of the front garden. Toast, as you may surmise, yearns to be out there. Inspector Gidget has been Outside and wants nothing to do with it.
