Catching a Break

I still haven’t got the hang of videos, so if this doesn’t work, and you actually want to see the time-lapse process video, click here.

Today’s art daily prompt was caves. Originally I was thinking bats flying, but then this happened. I’m not entirely happy with it – the space part is cool. The outside world is too soft, if that makes sense. I have so much to learn.

  1. Suggestion? Move the rocket up farther, so it’s just about to go out of sight.

  2. At first glance, the top picture made me think of an angry fish.

You guys getting your share of the snowstorm? We’re just starting to see it in Virginia.

    1. It’s been snowing here since early morning – about 6-7 inches down on the ground. And now! with more ice pellets. The dog took one look out at the backyard, one look at me, and then sat down and asked to NOT go out, please.

It hasn’t been nearly so bad down here in Cincinnati, around three inches this morning before it stopped. Then there was another quarter inch in a late afternoon reprise that started with ice pellets – after I’d shoveled, of course. One thing I do actually enjoy about these snows is looking at the critter tracks after.

      2. My folks (NE of Dayton) say they got five and a half inches. We’re just getting started here, I fear. And I have to drive up to Maryland for a business trip tomorrow…
