So, the other day (ok, a few weeks back) someone shared a video of tiny people riding bugs. “You should do this!” They told me. Which does sound like a lot of fun, but it takes time, patience, and possibly refrigeration to train insects to carry riders. Beside that, where do you get miniature people? Or, what I originally wanted, dragons and fairies and elves… no, game minis aren’t small enough, sadly. I spent a fair amount of time looking at the local game shop. Besides, for a whim, spending that much money seemed silly. Sad, but true. There are some awesomely fun figurines out there
So I found some N scale people at the local hobby shop. I’ve been carrying them around in the camera bag for a while, and today while doing a Poisonous Fun photoshoot, The Ginja Ninja and I played with the people and all the little fungus in the woods today. When I got home I edited the photos to make them even more surreal, and fun.
I feel like this needs to be a story. Or maybe it’s better if I leave it up to each of you, to create a tale of the People of the Mushroom Planet!

I had this series as a kid. Part of what made me want to write SF.

Ah, thank you! I knew there were mushroom planet stories, but I’ve not read them (and was thinking they were grown-up tales).
wow that takes me back…
Grumble Grumble
I can believe in Giant Mushrooms.
But I can’t believe in Giant Insects the size (or larger) of regular humans.
And I especially can’t believe in intelligent beings (elf or otherwise) the size of regular insects.
At least not on Earth. 😉
On the other hand, nice pictures. 😀
Well, I have written about ten foot tall slugs before.
Wow that takes me back…

Kind of like the Borrowers, only these people are much smaller!
Yes they are! It was a challenge to pose them. I need to pack tweezers along I think.
How fun.
