Quantum Soup

I’ve got to run to Physiology lecture – Not sure if we’re finishing capillaries or starting on digestion – but I saw this article and was interested. Then a sentence popped out and made me laugh.

But in a material containing a spin liquid state, even if that material is cooled to absolute zero, the bar magnets would not align but form an entangled soup caused by quantum fluctuations.

Entangled soup…. is that Ramen, or chicken noodle?

I vote for Ramen. lol Those noodles tangle like there’s no tomorrow, if you don’t break them before dropping them into the water. 😉

    1. I know! You pull out a big wad you can’t fit in your mouth… And there’s an interesting way to think about the persistence of matter through bonding.
