We are twenty-four hours from my having pressed the ‘publish’ button yesterday. Three hours after that, the anthology Can’t Go Home Again was live on the ‘Zon, and sometime last night, the paperback version went live as well.
Today?
Oh, yeah! Let’s see if we can get this book an orange tag, folks!
Also, if you are one of those who devours a book in a matter of hours, would you do us the honor of leaving a review? They make a huge difference, and frankly we are hoping this book can make a difference. Which it cannot do if it’s invisible.
I could talk about this book and the stories in it for some time, but then I’d wind up spoiling them for you. I will tell you they made me cry. There are some amazing stories in here, and I think you’ll find them both powerfully moving, and entertaining. The best of humanity, as those who are broken learn how to come back from the brink and learn to find their way home. Even if that means re-defining what home is to them.
It is a holiday anthology, but also it isn’t. Some of the stories center around Christmas, but as much because it’s a critical time of year when traditionally families gather. It’s also a time when the crisis comes for those who have felt trauma touch them and sever the ties that bind with those they love.
I hope you like it. And I suggest that if you know someone who needs to see what hope and healing look like, you give them a copy, or loan it (lending is enabled).

Got it via Kindle Unlimited.
Will try to throw money at you next month. 😉
Hey, if you can’t, a review is worth a lot to us.
Is there a way to track the Amazon standing of the book?
Yes, if you scroll down on the books page on Amazon you’ll see the rankings. They change every few hours at this point.
Yay!
As of a couple of minutes ago, it’s on the Kindle.
Thank you.
Just finished this morning.
Like anthologies the stories ran from decent, to not my flavor, to excellent. Some were touching, but nothing really hit home for me … until I got to LawDog’s piece. I had to lay the kindle down for a moment before I could read the last page.
My compliments to you and the authors for putting out such a good book.
Thank you. This means a lot to us. Would you be able to leave a review on Amazon?
